Meet Our Executive Team

LMCCI is led by a team of seasoned construction professionals who act as an extension of your staff to ensure that complex projects are efficiently planned, designed, and executed.  With owners Kris Meyer and Joseph Ledesma fully involved, we provide a full range of pre-construction services including budgeting, scheduling, value engineering, and design review.  Our executive team has been successfully working together since 2003 and are experts in "building your vision."

Kris Meyer

Kris Meyer, President/Principal

Kris Meyer has over 40 years of experience in construction/program and project management, including over 30 years devoted to public school construction and modernization throughout Southern California. As President of the corporation, he has devoted most of his career to creating a quality learning environment for students.  He is a proven leader, with deep expertise in developing strong client relationships, a passion for building outstanding client teams, and a disciplined focus on operations and execution of the highest quality construction in education.  Mr. Meyer has established excellent relationships with several governmental agencies.  He has considerable knowledge of the state funding process and has attained millions of dollars in additional funding for our Clients. Mr. Meyer brings incomparable experience to navigate our Clients through the educational construction process.  Mr. Meyer has a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Architectural Engineering from Iowa State University.

Joseph Ledesma

Joseph Ledesma, CEO/Principal

Joseph Ledesma has over 39 years of experience in all field facets of construction, from apprentice level through Superintendent.  Mr. Ledesma is personally involved in all of the company's projects, utilizing his big picture thinking and high-level communication skills.  Through his relationships with leaders of all aspects of the industry; Joseph has the knowledge and experience to bring the appropriate resources into projects at the proper time and is an expert in project closeouts and turnarounds.  Joe's perspective is "all of our school projects are not just construction projects; they are also student learning environments."  Safety is always the top priority!

Larry Flickinger

Larry Flickinger, Director of Operations

Larry has over 41 years of extensive construction experience.  He has been a Director and integral part of the LMCCI team since 2003 and has worked with over 35 (K-14) school districts in the construction and modernization of their facilities during his construction career.  In addition to being an outstanding Construction Manager, he is also a licensed General Contractor.  Larry is responsible for the operational oversight for LMCCI.  He is well versed in Program and Construction Management with vast experience in all aspects of the construction process including estimating, field construction, and project management. Larry has utilized all forms of delivery methods in his years of PM/CM.  Larry works with in-house staff during program/project development, constructability, estimating, bidding, and scheduling phases of each project. During construction, he attends most job site meetings and oversees the field staff and design professionals to help address project issues and concerns to make each project successful while guiding clients through the educational construction process.  Mr. Flickinger has a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Architectural Engineering from Iowa State University.

Tom Smith

Tom Smith, Director of Field Operations

Tom provides oversight of LMCCI's field operations. He has over 41 years of construction experience including over 19 years with LMCCI. Tom has extensive experience with public works construction projects, including more than 69 school construction projects for LMCCI.  In addition, Tom is an expert in Primavera CPM scheduling software, Prolog management software, and other technology and document control programs. He supervises and oversees the field project team during the construction, estimating, bidding, and scheduling.  He will attend most job site meetings, address project issues and act as the client representative in whatever capacity as requested by the client.  Tom's outstanding leadership and communication skills have delivered superior client satisfaction.
